Where AI Is Used on This Platform
BBSI uses AI in the following areas of this website and client platform:
- Public Inquiry AssistantA conversational AI assistant is available on our public website to answer questions about BBSI services, qualifications, and how to get in touch. It is designed to capture inquiries and route them to our team — it cannot make commitments on behalf of BBSI.
- Client Portal ChatAuthenticated clients have access to an AI assistant within the client portal. This assistant can answer questions about your account, active guard assignments, and service details based on your specific data.
- Administrative ToolsBBSI staff use AI-assisted tools internally for drafting proposals, generating operational insights, and summarizing account activity. All AI-generated content is reviewed by BBSI personnel before use.
How Our AI Systems Work
BBSI’s AI systems use large language model technology to generate natural language responses. The public assistant operates on a knowledge base specific to BBSI’s services, credentials, and operational capabilities. The client portal assistant additionally draws on your account-specific data — such as assigned job sites and guard activity — to provide relevant answers.
Our AI is constrained to defined use cases. It is not a general-purpose AI and is not authorized to enter into contracts, make pricing commitments, or take operational actions on behalf of BBSI. Any response that appears to do so should be confirmed directly with our team.
Human Oversight & Data Protection
All AI-generated content used in client-facing or operational contexts is subject to review by BBSI personnel before it is acted upon. We do not rely on AI output alone for decisions affecting guard deployment, client safety, or contractual obligations.
Client data accessed by the portal AI is processed in a non-public, authenticated environment. We apply rigorous security controls — including encrypted transmission, access-controlled storage, and session-based authentication — to ensure your data is never exposed to unauthorized parties or used to train third-party AI models.
We encourage all users to validate AI-generated information for accuracy and completeness before relying on it for business decisions. If you receive a response that appears incorrect or inappropriate, please contact us immediately.
